Scheduled - On Saturday, January 12, 5:00 PM until Sunday, January 13, 2:00 AM production applications that are protected by the Secure Access Login Page will be unavailable to log in. This includes many production applications and systems including HR Direct, Finance, BuyWays, Summit, Document Imaging, International Services and Student and applicant systems for Boston, Dartmouth, Lowell.

Resolved - The DUO Engineering Team’s changes have been completed and have resulted in the issue being fixed. We’ve re-enabled the DUO multi-factor authentication service and verified access is available to HR Direct, Summit, Finance or any other app where DUO multi-factor authentication is used. We will continue to monitor the issue.

Monitoring - DUO announced they are experiencing problems with the DUO authentication core service. A workaround was implemented to temporarily bypass DUO multi-factor authentication. Access is restored to HR Direct, Summit, Finance or any other app where DUO multi-factor authentication is used. Direct deposit and W-2 access in HR Direct is restricted until the issue is permanently resolved. An update will be sent as soon as we know more.

Investigating - Please be advised that we have had reports of issues connecting to Zoom. Zoom has acknowledged the issue and we will let you know once the issue has been resolved.

Resolved - A fix was applied at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, 1/8/19 to resolve this incident. Email messages sent from or to UMass Lowell (uml.edu) will be delivered.

Identified - Some email messages sent from or to UMass Lowell (uml.edu) addresses have not been delivered since Saturday morning, 1/5/19. The undelivered emails will be sent automatically when UMass Lowell resolves the issue. A fix is expected to be implemented on Monday evening, 1/7/19. If needed, please attempt to resend email or send a new email to UMass Lowell recipients.
