Multiple Applications - Major Outage - Resolved
Incident Report for UMass Shared Services
On Friday, September 16, between 10:20 pm and 10:45 pm multiple applications, including Finance, HR Direct, and Student (Boston, Dartmouth, Lowell, and UMass Chan Medical) were briefly unavailable due to a data center connectivity issue. New connections to the many applications could not be established. Existing connections became unresponsive.

We've restored access to the applications and are monitoring them closely.  We apologize for the inconvenience.
